Bespoke Carpentry & Joinery in Epsom

Honest, detail-led carpentry and joinery across Epsom, built on 14 years of experience.

Bespoke Carpentry, Designed Around Your Home

Bespoke work is where I do my best work, and it's most of what I take on in Epsom.

Every project starts from scratch, designed around your room and how you actually use it, rather than adapted from something off the shelf.

Whether that's a wardrobe built into an awkward alcove or a bifold door made to measure for an opening that isn't quite standard, the process stays the same: plan it properly, then build it to fit.

No Guesswork

A clear plan before anything starts.

Made to Fit

Built for your space, not squeezed in.

On Time

Timescales agreed, and kept.

Fourteen Years, One Standard

I hold NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, and placed 2nd at the SkillBuild National Carpentry Finals.

For over fourteen years, I've worked across high-end residential homes, commercial fit-outs, TV studios and film sets, but the standard I hold myself to hasn't moved.

Full details are on the About page.

A Family Town with Its Own Demands

Epsom's known as a racecourse town, but most of my work here happens well away from the track, inside family homes.

A lot of the households I work with have been settled in the area for years, and tend to be looking for carpentry that's built to last rather than a quick fix.

Whatever the property, the job is really about making it work properly for how you actually live in it, not just how it looks in a photo.

What I Can Help with in Epsom

Here's how the work tends to break down, from finishing touches to full second fix projects.

Doors & Openings

Doors supplied and fitted properly, with frames, linings and ironmongery handled as one job.

Made to measure and designed around the space, not adapted from something standard.

Finishing Details

Fitted cleanly to the wall and mitred neatly at every corner.

One of my favourite transformations, with tight joints and a considered layout.

Storage & Fitted Furniture

Built to make proper use of awkward alcoves and sloped ceilings.

Turning an unused recess into something genuinely useful.

Beautifully fitted grey corner unit with chunky oak top, fitting perfectly into a tight corner space

Fitted Wardrobes Built Around Epsom Homes

Fitted wardrobes are one of the projects I'm asked about most often in Epsom, usually because a standard wardrobe simply won't fit the space properly.

Chimney breasts, sloped ceilings and awkward corners all need something designed around the room rather than squeezed into it.

Every wardrobe is built to the exact measurements of your space, so the finished result feels like it's always been there.

Client Feedback

“Excellent work by Tom installing 4 heavy oak doors. You could tell he is a hard worker, being very knowledgeable and passionate about delivering quality carpentry to his customers. And in addition, left the place very tidy. Will definitely use again and no hesitation recommending him. Thank you Tom!”
